Ayan Travel Mongolia joins FESPO and EMITT 2019

From the beginning of 2019, Ayan Travel Team had a busy time preparing Travel Expos in western Asia and Europe. We are very proud of our team members who had done well at FESPO 2019 in Zurich, Switzerland, and EMITT 2019 in Istanbul, Turkey for the same time between January 31st and 3rd of February. FESPO exhibition in Zurich

Ayan Travel Mongolia was participating in one of the biggest travel exhibitions of Switzerland-FESPO 2019 in Zurich, Switzerland between the 31st of January and the 3rd of February.  Mongolia featured as the guest country was the first guest country from Asia for over 10 years at the largest holiday and travel fair in Switzerland. There are more than 600 international exhibitors and from Mongolia, more than 15 tour operator companies, 60 participants such as the Ministry of Environment and Tourism, Mongolian Tourism Association, artists of Ulaanbaatar National Ensemble, Mongolian wrestlers and calligraphist, etc.  Our Ayan Travel company mostly promoted Mongolia photography and adventure tours and during these four days, we met hundreds of visitors and more than 30 companies interested in promoting Mongolia.

Organizers of the expo mentioned that “During four days the FESPO 2019 lured around 65000 visitors and the absolute highlight is Mongolia, this year’s host country”. Mongolia promotes in many ways such as traditional folklore concert such as contortion, Long song- Urtiin Duu, Horse-headed Fiddle- Morin Khuur, Throat Singing- Khoomei, traditional dance, Tsam dance, and wrestling. For and the first time ever Mongolian wrestlers showed their tradition, wrestlers dance, culture, and did friendly competition between Mongolian and Swiss wrestlers. Schwingen also is known as Swiss wrestling is a style of folk wrestling native to Switzerland, more specifically the pre-alpine parts of German-Speaking Switzerland. Wrestlers wear Schwingerhosen ("wrestling breeches") with belts that are used for taking holds. Throws and trips are common because the first person to pin his or her opponent's shoulders to the ground wins the bout. EMITT exhibition in Istanbul

This year, 23rd EMITT, the East Mediterranean International Travel and Tourism Exhibition was held between 31 January and 3 February 2019. EMITT 2019 opened on 31 January, with over 1,100 destinations, tour operators, and other travel service providers presenting their opportunities at Istanbul’s TUYAP Centre for travel agents, tour operators, and tourists. This year, the exhibition has grown 25% in terms of exhibitors and is expecting more than 57,000 visitors. EMITT has organized the Hosted Buyer (invited tour operator) program, where will be hosted by nearly 700 tour operators from more than 100 countries.

''Ayan Travel” has attended the second time this year. During 4 days of 23rd EMITT, we had meetings with tour operators and travelers from Turkey, India, Uzbekistan, Pakistan, Poland, Hungary, Nepal, Bulgaria, Kenya, Italy, Algeria, and the Philippines.  This year, three tour operator companies have attended from Mongolia, “A Star Mongolia”, “Ayan Travel” and “DMD Mongolia”.  EMITT is an important event for our company, even for our country to present Mongolia to the world and attract more guests, travelers.
