Mongolia - China Tour with Flight

Arrive in Ulaanbaatar. Transfer to the hotel and relax. City tour including the Gandan Monastery, the National Museum of Mongolia, which represents Mongolian Culture starting from the Stone Age to the 21st century, and Buddhism, Sukhbaatar Square (also known as Chingis Khaan Square). In Gandan Monastery, you can take local prayers, monks, the biggest standing indoor Buddha statue, and temples' own figure. (L/D)

Take a flight to Dalanzadgad town, the central town of South Gobi province. Meet with our driver and drive to Yoliin Am known as Eagle valley in the Gobi Gurvan Saikhan Mountain National Park. This is a picturesque valley in the middle of the Gobi desert with thick ice almost all year round. While ascending to the valley we will find a glacier in the middle of the rocky cliffs If we visit before August.

Then, drive to Khongor Sand Dunes to getting the first experience of the majestic Gobi desert. Visit camel breeding family and familiarizing with their isolated lifestyle. Camel riding is arranged for you /optional/. Hiking in the sand dunes to enjoy. (B/L/D)

Today we will drive to Bayanzag, (known as a Flaming Cliffs where the first nest of dinosaur eggs ever discovered was found in 1922.) a site famous for the remains of dinosaurs which lived here 60 million years ago. You can walk around where dinosaurs once roamed and see saksaul trees and other classic desert vegetation. (B/L/D)

Take a flight back to Ulaanbaatar. Option to go shopping for souvenirs and cashmere products. Cultural performance in the evening. (B/L/D)

Drive to Terelj National Park, one of the most beautiful destinations close to Ulaanbaatar. Travelers can take a horseback riding trip and visiting local nomads, view fascinating rock formations against a backdrop of pine-covered mountains and wander along the wooded banks of a mountain stream. The possibility to take hiking to Ariyabal temple on a beautiful rocky mountain and capturing Turtle Rock from that mountain is another angle. Drive back to Ulaanbaatar in the evening. (B/L/D)

Transfer to Chinggis Khaan Internation Airport in Ulaanbaatar. Take a flight to Beijing. The flight takes around 2 hours and 15 minutes. Transfer to the hotel and short city tour with a visit to The Sacred Road, Enjoy Roasted Duck at Qianmen Quanjude.  

The Sacred Road: The road is guarded on both sides with stone statues by which the ancient emperors went to hold a memorial ceremony for the ancestors. Roasted Duck at Qianmen Quanjude: In the evening, enjoy the Peking Roasted Duck which is renowned as the most delicious food in Beijing. (B/L/D)

Early in the morning, we will drive to Mutianyu Great Wall: 90km northeast of Beijing city, which is more appealing to most travelers than Badaling as it's somewhat less developed. A two-kilometer section of the wall, well endowed with guard towers, built-in 1368 and renovated in 1983, it passes along a ridge through some lush, undulating hills.

Then, we will come back to the city and visit The Summer Palace - this is an outstanding expression of the creative art of Chinese landscape garden design, incorporating the works of humankind and nature in a harmonious whole. Farewell dinner together. (B/L/D)

The end of our tour. Transfer to one of the airports in Beijing and depart China.
